3 Regions targeted Thus the World Cultural Heritage in 2010
Bali 3 areas targeted for the establishment as a world heritage area in 2010 by the Organization of Education, Science and Culture of the world (UNESCO).
The third area of Tabanan Region Jatiluwih Rice, Pakerisan Watershed Subak Gianyar Desa Adat and Taman Ayun Badung.
Director General of History and Antiquities Ministry of Culture and Tourism Day on Drajat Untoro he said in Renon, Wednesday (16/12) expressed at least three areas in June 2010 has been designated as world cultural heritage.
Moreover, UNESCO has recommended to the government to supplement other documents at the latest completion in February 2010.
According to Hari Untoro, the possibility of determination of 3 areas in Bali as part of the world’s cultural heritage is very potential, as supported by social institutions that owned the local community.
“Bali is ready with the existing social order, right there pekraman village, if the other is still far away,” said Hari Untoro Drajat.
Director General of History and Antiquities Ministry of Culture and Tourism Day Drajat Untoro priorities mentioned in 8 regions of Indonesia proposed as part of the world cultural heritage such as Bali, Tanah Toraja, Nias, Muara Jambi and Trowulan.
While so far only Indonesia has the world’s cultural heritage 3 is Borobudor, Prambanan and Sangiran.
